Half an hour of Mr Bulleid's finest spectacularly bought to us by crews of dedicated restorers and volunteers, yes, we know you like playing trains but thank you all for your appreciated efforts!!👍👍 What do all those differing head codes mean anyone, there was nearly a different one at every pass?!!! Lovely to see history in motion, excellent videography and to finish on a true English icon the Majestic Oak brought a lump to my throat. I at 53yrs have done my bit, small as it is, by planting and tending for a Majestic Oak in my garden, whilst in my shed Lego trains do run. We are but custodians of this world and all we build so let it be said a persons worth is not measured in their lifetime but by the good legacy we leave on history.

Nice to see a Bulleid pulling a rake of Bulleid coaches, something sadly lacking at Swanage, which I hope they will rectify if a Strictly Bulleid 3 event ever takes place. As for the paint work on SAS that is very good but not as good the paintwork on recommissioned Clan Line, that has to be seen to be believed.

That was worth the wait Matthew, so glad I didn't go over to the datk side and watch some of the other offerings. What a sight, especially the headboards and Fleche D'or, they stirred up a few grey cells!!! A couple of new locations?? One thing missing - Q1, that would have made a proper Bulleid extravaganza, but don't think that'll happen again?? Thanks as usual for your dedication, hope the pollen count stayed low and the tripod behaved itself.

Far removed from what was hoped for? I think it's one of the best of the weekend. We'll done for recognising that the most important thing is that the locos are working hard, and not eschewing tender-first shots if the sound's good. 8:45Now that's quite a challenge; 6 coaches plus two locos on the other end! 😂
